# HRIS or Internal Database Webhooks

Fountain can send data to your HRIS (Human Resources Information System) or an internal database via webhook.

## Set Up HRIS/Internal Database Webhook

To set up the webhook, follow the steps below:

1. Click your **initials icon** in the top right of any Fountain page and then click **Company Settings** in the dropdown.

2. Under the Developer Settings in the left side panel, click **Webhooks**. You can learn more information about webhooks [here](https://developer.fountain.com/docs/webhooks-new).

3. Click **Add Webhook**.

4. Fill in the required fields. For more information on how to fill out the fields.

5. Click **Save**. When applicants are moved to the stage that triggers the webhook, Fountain automatically fires a webhook containing the applicant payload to the provided destination URL.

6. You will then need to map the Fountain applicant fields into your external HRIS or internal database.

**Best Practice:**

For testing, Fountain recommends using [Postman](https://www.getpostman.com/) to try out/see the applicant payloads to map before switching to your company URLs.
